The thing is well before these plans were introduced I was able to use my personal mail plan as a BIS plan, will need to check out how much amount is debited, Rs. 299 or Rs. 399. Certainly the reduced tariffs from Airtel and Vodafone is going to help Blackberry to flourish further.

How exactly were you using BIS on personal mail plan - loading the Service Book manually into the device?

Venu, I did not load the service book manually. I had a problem with my Blackberry Service and I had called 7070 and they said my service had been deactivated for some reason and they asked me to send an sms to activate the plan and the personnel in the customer care even acknowledged that my plan is a personal mail plan and I sent the sms for reactivation and from then on I am able to browse, use FB, twitter, etc on my person mail plan. As I said, will need to check out how much is going to be debited, will let you know in a couple of days as my renewal date comes up in a couple of days.

Guys any info about the similar plan on postpaid? As vodafone has launched 599 unlimited for postpaid customers.

Guys can we use this prepaid BB service without any extra charges on Roaming ?

yup as far as I know there is no additional charge on national roaming..
