As far as i know local dealers charge more and we wont be sure if he is selling a genuine product. I have ordered a couple of accessories from Fommy.co.in and they are very good quality and Genuine. I would say online shopping is the best.

Yes I am also in favor of online shops (at least in terms of price)
However if you do end up with a substandard item, I am not sure which would be more convenient in terms of exchange/return.

In terms of online buying, I would even vote for ebay (their pasiapay protection safeguards against substandard items and delayed items)

I had nice experience with Fommy and Blackberrywala, both returned my money when product was not there or wrong product was shipped.

eBay is also good in terms of getting good deals.

I have used fommy.co.in and returned on 2 occasions, not because the product was defective, but because , I did not like the product. Both were holsters.
In fact I used it for a couple of days, and didn't like the holster :-[, so returned it.
I had kept the packing intact.

They ask for all sorts of questions when you want a RMA. You can just get away by saying that it doesn't work as advertised and they are cool with it.

You do lose some money, but its okay.

Ebay.in is also good for cheap quality accessories.

Well, I dont think all Local Shops have inferior/substandard products.
the shops i have listed in the first post are the shops i have visited & bought products from (phs or accessories) & let me tell you, they give you the best/genuine products at the best prices.
if someone is from Kolkata & is looking for any mobile ph related products, do visit any of the shops listed above. they are great.

I have also bought accessories from fommy but the delivery time was very long + they'll tell/show on the website that the product is available ex-stock but it wont be. they'll take the payment from you, then order it in the US, get it from there & then ship it to you. That's what my experience was. The quality of the product (OEM Holster for 9000) was great.
