Thread: Charging dock for Bold 9780

How many of you have the charging dock for Bold 9780 ? In my opinion its a must have accessory for you blackberry !



Its the most convenient way of charging Blackberry !

I don't have it, but planning to buy along with an extra battery and some other stuff too

I have for 9700. Its a real pride to place it on office desk and charge ur BB with LCD clock displayed on screen

Venu - as u knw I bought jayanth's old BB. He gave the dock along wth the BB.

i just saw one in Croma zip store in Mumbai airport , retails for about 750/ odd

Asking this question out of curiosity. How does it charge the batter? I mean my Bold 9780 does not have any connector for charging at the bottom. So if I dock it in this pod, how would this charge the device?

Do we need to connect charger separately? Please share your inputs..

Shri, Check again the side of your phone. In the side bottom you will find two metal pins which are used with this dock.

Thanks Sachin! Never realized these are for charging. I have searched entire Pune today and could not find docking pod

Seems this is available with flipkart so would have to order online.
