Thread: Blackberry Torch Restarting

hey,
For couple of weeks now, my bb just restarts on its own. it happens around 4-5 times a day. i'm on v6.0.0.666,Platform 6.6.0.241.
Do you think its a hardware problem or software problem.

Looks like a software issue. Not sure if we have latest OS then what u r on right now. Try doing a security wipe and see if that resolves the issue. Try to remember if u installed some app and after that it started happening.

Btw I just got reminded of an issue where my BB started rebooting even with a little jerk, this started happening after it fell off my hands. So also see if something similar is happening with ur BB. (I seriously hope thats not the case)

well even i have the same problem...been suffering it from 2 days..very annoying...now its just not starting...i think its a software issue

i went to the service centre today...they told me its a hardware issue

well.......downgraded my os to the previous version.....problem solved since then.

how come? my board got ruined because of this

hope you were using the right charging equipment. One of my Bold's conked off bcoz of this reason only. Is the red light switching on or not?

yup my charger was completely fine...it just started to act weird about 3 days back..it started getting hung & restarting by it self..& went off by itself then never came back on

Get it replaced for free if the service station offers....

now what to do accessories have only 6 months warranty & it has surpassed it..now its nearly a year since i bought this crap fone
