    Use Blackberry as a modem to use Internet on your laptop or computer



    Yes, you can use the Blackberry as a Modem.

    Download and Install latest version of Desktop Manager and connect using IP Modem option. No need to configure anything else, just connect.

    well thanks , Sachin but i have a problem here.

    i am a Vodafone user and am informed that is it not possible to use Blackberry as a modem just on a blackberry plan but also activate the Vodafone Connect plan to use this service.

    That would amount to pay for 2 services (blackberry and vodafone connect ) for my Blackberry service and to use it as a modem with my lap top , which would otherwise also be achived by activating just one service ( vodafone connect ) if i have any other phone.

    Well I use Airtel but have you tried to connect ?

    Also which plan you are using?

    i guess these are issues with the network providers and not blackberry...

    but over all i have noticed and started to get this feeling that vodafone is the most expensive service in country...

    Download the BB Desktop Manager for Mac and see if you have the same "IP Modem" option
